­One of the things I love most about the UK is its country house hotels, which run the gamut from super sleek (like The Grove) to charming and full of chintz. When I was in Scotland earlier this month, I had dinner at the superb Cringletie House hotel, a member of Luxury Scotland, located in the charming Borders town of Peebles.
