Grabbing good food when you’re on the go is one of those things that should be really easy- but it's not. Spain has Ferran Adria’s Fast Good and in Paris there’s the chic Cojean. In London if I’m in a hurry I rely on stand bys like Pret-A-Manger and EAT, but lately I’ve been loving Leon. This small, quirky chain of restaurants serves up wholesome food like organic porridge with stringy bark honey; apple, ginger ands goji berry smoothies; and mains like Moroccan meatballs and flatbread wraps. There’s also the Leon Gobi, with sweet potato, almonds, cauliflower, peas, chilli, ginger, garlic, sultanas and spices, finished with coriander and coconut milk, and my favourite, the grilled chicken superfood salad served with quinoa seeds and crisp broccoli. All the mains are prepackaged in a box for you to grab and go, or eat in- and everything is made fresh on site. Leon has locations all over the city.
