The next time I’m in Miami, I know where I’ll want to call home- the groovy Whitelaw hotel. You have to love a hotel whose motto is, "Clean sheets, hot water, stiff drinks.” This eye-popping place- which has a very liberal use of hot pink- is located in the middle of it all on Collins Avenue, near the beach.  It’s a bit rock and roll, very glam and it’s been described as David Lachapellesque. The Whitelaw also seems to be quite the party hotel. There are complimentary drinks from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily at the martini bar, and the hotel offers VIP access to some of Miami’s hottest clubs. Guest rooms have shag carpets, plasma televisions and crystal chandeliers. It's all so Austin Powers in South Beach. Heavenly!
